Right now, chats are sent as individual messages and pile up within the chat box. Would be great for attendees to be able to "like" or reply directly to another chat messages to create more interaction, and possibly be a more organized view.

Good idea. Or perhaps a way to separate out social interaction (which is really important especially when you can't have in person) and substantive chats (like questions about the content within the presentation). Our audience loves to say hi to each other. So the chat box will be filed up with "Hi Larry" "Hi Sally" "Hi Joe" (which is lovely to see everyone being so happy to see each other) but then actual chat posts related to the content in the presentation gets lost. I don't think there is a perfect solution here, but a similar approach to Zoom's chat (where individuals can direct message between attendees) could help.
